Meet the Innkeeper

Fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a bed and breakfast, Tammy Nash  opened The Inn at Blackberry Hill May of 2022.  Located in the picturesque North Georgia Mountains of Dahlonega, the Inn was created to provide a relaxing and stress-free getaway for guests looking to relax and rewind.

A Georgia native, Tammy grew up on a farm in the small town of Dacula. She earned her Undergraduate and Master's degree from the University of Georgia in Athens and her Doctorate degree from Liberty University, Virginia.  After teaching Special Education for Gwinnett County Public Schools for 30 years, she retired June 2023 to run the Inn full time. 

Blessed with a large family, Tammy has three siblings, Stacy Carter, Atlanta, GA and Heather Heard and Jody Parr, Dacula, GA.   She is proud to be mom to her three children, Haley, Harrison, and Hayden.  Tammy is now known as "Grammy"  after welcoming her first grandchild, Hudson, in August 2023.
